Private Garden Getaway: Cozy & Chic, Near Subway & Yankee Stdm

Feel safe and cozy in NYC Positive: Annie (the host) was incredibly friendly, supportive and responsible. The location is truly superb: just a few minutes from the subway station. The apartment itself is nice and neat. It was warm and cozy inside. The bathroom was cold (we stayed on the ground level), but the host placed a portable heater inside to solve this issue. Overall, it's a wonderful place to stay.

Bon appartement au nord de harlem Positive: Appartement spacieux très bien situé au niveau de la station 125th street, hyper bien desservie. Quartier très calme, il y a un supermarché à 2 pas. Accueil très soigné, Annie est très vigilante sur le bien être des hôtes. Très bonne literie. L'expérience est donc positive. Negative: Deux éléments à préciser : 1 - l'appartement pour 3 est en sous sol, autrement dit lumière extérieure très imitée. On ne vient pas à NY pour rester enfermé mais à savoir - 2 - au niveau de l'appartement pour 3, le canapé lit est à réserver à un jeune car confort minimum.

Decent, clean apartment in excellent location. Positive: Excellent location, literally around the corner from the A, B & D. Between St Nicholas Avenue & Amsterdam Avenue. Very cute, nicely furnished outdoor area in the back is the highlight of the apartment. There's a new, really cute coffee shop on St. Nick serving excellent espresso drinks. Air conditioners worked great. Bed was very comfortable. The host, Annie, is extremely responsive and gracious. Negative: The towels need upgrading. They are basic white towels, not larger size or thick. I think the word luxe and loft need to be rethought since this is a basement apartment with little light. But most of us don't travel to NYC to experience the accommodations.
